A. Srivanth holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and served as the Student In-Charge of the Lab for the academic year 2024–25. His research interests lie in understanding how social identities are contextualised through media representations and the interpersonal processes that shape these experiences. A keen reader of fiction, an avid writer, and someone who enjoys video games, films, and sports, Srivanth is deeply drawn to the world of media and remains enthusiastic about continuing to explore its psychological dimensions.
Sharanya Das Ghosh holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and was a part of the Media Psychology Lab during the academic year 2024–25, serving as a Content Reviewer. They spent much of their time watching, reading, and perhaps overthinking media so others did not have to. Their role involved evaluating digital media through a psychological lens, ensuring that it remained thoughtful, ethical, and more than just noise. They are particularly drawn to media that explores identity and emotion, though, more often than not, the media they consume ends up consuming them.
Parinita Shetty is a first-year student pursuing her Bachelor's in Education. Having honed her skills in various areas, she believes that an intersection of Psychology with Theatre will lead to multi-faceted and rich insights that can transcend any differences.
Romita Handa is currently a second-year student pursuing her master's in advertising and corporate communications. Her zest to unravel the many layers of learning while contributing to the world she inhabits has always been her guiding force. Aiming to become a psychologist, her belief in the wide application of the field continues to fascinate her.
Shreya is a curious observer who ponders over any phenomena, media, meanings, and people around her with specific interests in areas of trauma, grief, parenting, media, and community mental health practices. Driven by a purpose to make a difference in people's lives and experience from diverse internships in hospitals and mental health clinics, research, community engagement, and peer education, she aims to innovate mental health interventions and contribute meaningfully to the field through research and practice.
